That's the reality of that situation. Tim Cook contributed to Trump's presidential campaign with lots and lots of money. In return, like it happens in the real world, behind the scenes, the favor is returned in kind.
No tarrifs on computers and cell phones.
Am I allowed to sell Apple computers? Is there any vendors out there have have Apple inventory? Must be some kind of monopoly that has that exclusivity and it AIN'T average Americans.
I remember the days when we used to say "never elect a rich man in politics". It's no surprise, that people get out of touch with the reality of anyone on a lower economic level. Does anyone remember when Ross Pero ran for president? His only downfall?? He was rich! That's it!
Of course, this time around, it goes beyond lifestyle status. It was about playing on people's emotional state. The angst, the hate, the excitement, the wishful eagerness to do something about what they feel AILS US.
So naturally, we even create someto blame for our shortfalls in life. Whether it's immigrants or gays, or anyone not like them. And this is where we are now BECAUSE of these decisions.
