Security Clearance
I have made references in the past that I am a Marine Corps Veteran.
My MOS (Military Occupational Specialty) was Avionics. My job was a technician for all things electronic. I was stationed in Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii. For this type of job, we are given a SECURITY CLEARANCE.
What most people don't know, is that there are different levels of security clearances. The 3 basic ones are Confidential, Secret, and Top Secret. Now, it was rumored at the time that there is a 4th but wouldn't you guess it, if I knew, I had to be killed.
The recent security leak is so freakin high up the chain that it appalling how bad their conduct was in handling the information they were communicating.
This doesn't matter if you are Republican or Democrat, the sheer fact that it was in an unsecured channel screams at me in the worst possible ways. One would have thought that this was a simple mistake. IT WAS NOT.
In fact, all of their communication could simply be held in secured channels to avoid having to go back and forth between open and closed channels. Of course, there are a hundred other things that went wrong with who ordeal, I can list many but the point is, the damage is done and it is just incredible on how stupid these people at this level of having their communication so exposed! What do you think about this? If you were in the military and when you find out about this sort of thing, it would certainly upset you if you could be killed as a result of someone else's actions. This is why this matter is so outrageous, JUST TO NAME ANOTHER REASON...Again, there are ALOT MORE and I can probably, REALISTICALLY name about 20. It is just so extremely bad. I hope that heads roll for this mistake because it should NEVER happen. Period.
